‘A’ grade for ARCA audit

ARCA is the UK’s leading association for asbestos removal contractors, and helps steer the industry and is recognised as driving excellence throughout the industry. As part of ARCA membership, companies must undergo audits of their work. ARCA can attend site for either planned or unannounced audits to view the level of workmanship at any point during the removal project. Members of ARCA must undergo three audits and then regular audits to maintain their accreditation.

At a recent AIB removal ARCA attended site. The auditor ran through the audit process with involvement from our supervisor Andy Hemmings. Andy enabled the audit to run smoothly, providing all necessary information, certificates and insurances. The site setup, removal and subsequent deconstruction of the enclosure went so well that Andy and his team were awarded an ‘A’ audit result.

Further to the ‘A’ grade provided no corrective actions were required meaning that everything from the site paperwork to negative pressure units were in perfect condition. The audits provided by ARCA are some of the most rigorous in the industry so to gain feedback like this is proof that our hard work is providing results that can be appreciated by all in the trade.

Andy and his team have received glowing praise from the directors at Rightway. We continue to produce work of the highest calibre and it is great to be recognised for this by the industries leading authorities.
