Historical Buildings and Asbestos

Work started this week on an abandoned hospital in #Alton #Hampshire. The building was first used in 1901 to treat soldiers from the Boer War and then opened in 1908 to treat children that were suffering from tuberculosis.

Rightway Environmental are now working on the building, that has been empty for decades, to remove asbestos thermal insulation before the premises are #demolished.
