Kemble Airfield Enterprise Park
Rightway Environmental Ltd recently undertook asbestos removal work at Building 20, Kemble Airfield Enterprise Park, Kemble, for client David Horton Contractors Ltd .
The works involved removal of Amosite and Chrysotile insulation from 112 metres of pipework located in the roof void and 15 square metres of Asbestos Insulating Board from within the kitchen area.
The removal work was necessary to facilitate the safe demolition of the building. The very poor condition of the pipework insulation made it a requirement to carry out complete decontamination to the whole of the roof void .
The project was managed by Contract Manager Justin Priddle and Supervisor Luke Hemmings headed up the team tasked to carry out the works which were undertaken within agreed timescales and to the entire satisfaction of the client.
Client Dan Horton said “Rightway have once again assisted us by making this building safe for demolition. The whole operation from tendering for the works through to completion has been undertaken with their usual professionalism. ”
