Rightway Environmental’s Asbestos Team attended the property to remove the textured coating from the kitchen ceiling.
 
The work area was fully enclosed and controlled using an airlock and negative pressure unit. All furniture, fixtures and fittings within the affected area were protected and securely sheeted using 1000-gauge polythene prior to commencement of the asbestos removal works.
 
The textured coating was safely removed by Rightway Environmental in accordance with the required asbestos control measures, leaving the area ready for the building division to carry out the reinstatement works.
 
Following completion of the asbestos removal, Rightway Building Services attended and reinstated the kitchen ceiling. The ceiling was plasterboarded and subsequently skimmed with plaster, providing a suitable finished surface ready for decoration.
